Welcome to OKKAM registration - Import root certificate authority

Please follow the few steps below to import OKKAM Global Root Certificate Authority, which you will need to have it installed in order to access the actual registration page. If you have registered before (already performed the steps below) please go directly to the OKKAM User Registration form.

Automated import of OKKAM Global Root CA
  1. Click on the okkam_root.cer to make your browser automatically run certificate installation wizard, and follow the wizard's steps.
    • If Firefox browser check the option "Trust this CA to identify web sites".
    • If Internet Explorer browser follow the steps for importing a trusted certificate authority.
    • If Opera browser follow the steps for importing a trusted certificate authority.
  2. Click on okkamauthorities.crl to import the list of revoked OKKAM authorities certificates. (recommended for all users)
  3. Go to the OKKAM User Registration form to complete the registration process.

You can check root certificate authenticity by comparing its MD5 Fingerprint value with the following one:
50:C1:7D:FA:29:2A:81:72:EF:E5:2A:29:3A:4E:5F:D6

If your browser does not support dynamic import of certificate authority please follow the steps below.

Static import of OKKAM Global Root CA
  1. Download okkam_root.cer file in a local folder of your choice.
  2. Import root certificate by:
    • If Internet Explorer or Safari browsers double click on the certificate file and the operating system (Windows or MacOSX respectivelly) will launch a certificate installation wizard. Follow the wizard's steps. You will have to confirm the root certificate as trusted when importing it.
    • If Firefox browser open
        Preferences > Advanced > Encryption > ViewCertificates > Authorities > Import...
      select the certificate file and complete the import by checking "Trust this CA to identify web sites".
    • If Opera browser open
        Preferences > Advanced > Security > Manage Certificates > Authorities > Import...
      select the certificate file and complete the import by confirming a trusted authority certificate.
  3. Click on okkamauthorities.crl to import the list of revoked OKKAM authorities certificates. (recommended for all users)
  4. Go to the OKKAM User Registration form to complete the registration process.
